Directions to Main Gate: From Frankfurt Airport to Grafenwoehr, The Frankfurt International Airport is approximately 3 hours from Grafenwoehr. To get to Grafenwoehr, take Autobahn A3 toward Nuernberg. At Nuernberg, go onto Autobahn A9 and follow the directions as above to get to Grafenwoehr from the Nuernberg Airport. Note: There is not a main gate as you might suspect, only a gate guard hut. There is no boundary between the town and the post.

Location: United States Army Garrison (USAG) Grafenwoehr consists of Rose Barracks at Vilseck and Main Post at Grafenwoehr, which are located in beautiful Bavaria, about 60 miles northeast of Nuernberg.
