This year marks the 75th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor. Those looking to “honor the past and inspire the future” can celebrate the 75th Commemoration with a trip to Hawaii, including special events and offerings for the December 7th holiday.

What to do:

  • A memorial parade, concert, and war films at Waikiki Outdoor Theater. Featuring a dozen Pearl Harbor eye-witnesses, the “Remember Pearl Harbor” documentary will premiere. The events will culminate with the Honolulu Marathon open to all. See the full schedule of events here.
  • The “December 7th Remembered” Gala Tribute is taking place at Waikiki’s historically iconic Hilton Hawaiian Village, which is also in close proximity to major event venues including Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and Hawaii Convention Center. When not attending events, guests of the hotel can enjoy an array of watersports at the world-famous Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and Beach, authentic activities from lei making to ukulele classes, and more.

Where to stay:

  • Aqua-Aston Hospitality, the leading hotel management group in Hawaii, has a special offer to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Guests can use promo code 75Years to get 20% off the best rate available + amenity fees waived.
Must book direct (online or call center). 1 night deposit, 2 night min stay. Open to Survivors, Veterans, and their family members attending Dec 7 events and ceremonies throughout Oahu. Book now through Nov 30. Stay Dec 2 – Dec 11, 2016.
