Air Base FamCamp is on Joint Base Charleston AFB in Charleston, SC. The campground is in a wooded area shaded by Pine and Oak trees. Joint Base
Charleston is less than thirty minutes north of downtown Charleston and forty minutes from Isle of Palm beaches.
The FamCamp offers forty-two concrete paved sites with W/20,30,50A/S —four overflow sites with W/20,30,50A, laundry, and showers. The campground is open year-round. Leashed pets are allowed. Restrictions apply.
Activities include Golf, Skeet and Trap range, Bowling Alley, Low Country Club, Auto Hobby Shop, and Arts and Crafts Center.
Joint Base Charleston offers boat rentals, Commissary, Exchange, a fitness center, Post Office, and a car wash.
Charleston is a beautiful city with a French Quarter, cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, beaches, a waterfront park, and Fort Sumter. This charming and historic town is a wonderful destination for the whole family.
