Altus Air Force Base, OK | Featured Military Space-A Air Terminal of the Week

Did you know that Altus Air Force Base, OK offers space-a flights to several military locations including California, Colorado and Washington? While Altus is a training base and doesn't have regular Space-A flights, if you check frequently enough, you're sure to find a flight.

The 97th LRS is part of the 97th AMW, located in Altus, Oklahoma. Altus AFB is home to the C-17 Globemaster, KC-46 Pegasus, and KC-135 Tankers. The 97th LRS plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and manages all logistic support activities for the Wing training mission of the C-17, KC-46, and KC-135 aircrew. The passenger terminal opens 1 hour prior to Roll Call to provide space available travel opportunities when the mission dictates.
