The Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area is thirty minutes south of Wilmington, NC, and less than five minutes from the charming beach community of Kure Beach, NC.
The Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area offers camping sites with W/30, 50A/S, and overflow sites with 20 or 30/50A. The campground also has dry sites and a primitive tent camping area, as well as cottages and lodges. Pets are allowed in the campground. Fees and restrictions may apply, the park is open year round.
Blakeslee amenities include boat rentals, a beach, boating, fishing, a laundry facility, a pet kennel, and more!
While here, visit the NC Aquarium, Civil War Museum, surf & pier fishing, and enjoy the large crowd-free beaches! There is also the Beach House Bar & Grill, a recreational hall, an outdoor swimming pool, and a variety of rental equipment available to patrons!
