Getting away and enjoying some R&R is always a treat. So why not try Dover AFB FamCamp? With its convenient location to attractions like the John Dickinson Plantation and other historic sites, this FamCamp is an excellent choice. And, it’s just 45 minutes away from Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches, which are rated among the top ten beaches in the US!

The camp has 10 recreational vehicle sites equipped with electric (30/50 amp connections), sewer, and water hook-ups. There is also an overflow dry camp (meaning no utilities), a dump station, a large dumpster, and a bathhouse with flush toilets, and showers. A coin-operated laundry is also available. Picnic tables and grills are located near all sites with the exception of the dry sites. And of course, a full range of support facilities is offered on Dover AFB.
While there, visit the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, which hosts a variety of NASCAR events June through September, and harness racing November through March. The casino also offers dining, table games, and slot machines daily. Visitors may also walk over to Eagle’s Nest Park which is equipped with several pavilions, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets, and playgrounds that can accommodate children 2 – 12 years of age. Or enjoy the Air Mobility Command Museum, the only museum dedicated to airlift and air refueling history!
