The MacDill FamCamp is located on the south end of MacDill Air Force Base, on Florida’s Interbay Peninsula. This extensive recreation area consists of a FamCamp, marina, beach, snack bar, and pavilions.

Visitors will find freshwater lakes nearby, and nature trails with an abundance of natural flora and fauna. It’s truly an outdoor lover’s paradise!
And if you’re looking for even more excitement, nearby Tampa offers museums, amusement parks, concerts, a zoo, and a vibrant nightlife! You will also find deep-sea and inshore fishing tours in the surrounding area.
The FamCamp operates year-round, with 359 full-service sites, complete with electricity, water, waste disposal, cable TV and optional telephone service.
There are 40 dry campsites. The area also includes 21 partial hook-up spots, complete with water and electric, and a tent camping area.
There is also a full range of support facilities to be found at MacDill AFB.
