Located on base, Glass Park RV Park on Ft Wainwright, AK offers a fisherman’s paradise amidst Alaska’s lakes and rivers and forests teeming with many kinds of wildlife. There is plenty of sunshine, great fishing and hunting, and beautiful views! Both the post and the Fairbanks community offer many activities. Chena Lake, the North Pole, Birch Lake and Quartz Lake are all within a two-hour drive. Guests will also appreciate a full range of support facilities.
The RV Park offers both full hookup and primitive camping sites. With 20 full hookup spots and 50 primitive, RV’ers and campers alike are sure to enjoy Glass Park! The park operates seasonally from May to September. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance and are recommended.
