This week's featured Military camping facility is the Goodfellow Air Force Base Recreation Camp on Lake Nasworthy. The Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp offers its visitors the best of both worlds – 20 RV sites with full hookups, 10 sites with partial hookups, 8 lakeside cabins, and tent camping.
The Rec Camp amenities include bathrooms, showers, a playground, sand volleyball, pool during the summer months and boat, cabin, kayak and paddleboard rentals. During office hours there are also snacks and drinks available for purchase.
With so many activities to fill your days you will find yourself immersed in recreational fun! Guests can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, canoes, ski boats, fishing boats and pontoon boats and fully enjoy Lake Nasworthy. You can also rent RV’s if you don’t own your own and there is even a sundries convenience store on site offering beverages, ice cream, ice and more.
