The Jim Creek Wilderness Recreation Area, WA is an excellent destination for those wanting to explore the great outdoors! It’s located within the foothills of the North Cascades Mountains, only 20 minutes outside of Arlington, WA and 60 miles north of Seattle.
The nearly 5,000 acres include 225 acres of old-growth forest, 70 acres of lakes, miles of hiking trails and several streams. There are cabins, apartments, RV spaces, and campsites for all comfort levels and skill types. Activities include camping, fishing, boat rentals, hiking, golf, off-leash dog park, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and monthly special events.
