Situated on a 640-acre lake on the Northwest Perimeter of Fort Novosel, Lake Tholocco Lodging and Engineer Beach RV Park offers guests a relaxing, rustic respite on the base known as the “Home of Army Aviation”!
The campground offers 18 long-term and 30 short-term RV sites with 40-foot concrete slabs, W/25/30/50A. There is no sewer at the sites, but a dump station is provided on the road to the campground. Pets are allowed. Restrictions and fees may apply. The campground also offers 1 yurt, 4 tent sites, and 21 2-bedrooms cabins with queen-size beds. The campground is open year-round.
Support facilities include a new bathhouse, a recreation room, a boat rental, and a laundry room. Camping by the beach gives you easy access to fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and many more outdoor activities!
About seven miles down the road, passing the commissary, the Silver Wings Golf Club is a 27-Hole challenging golf course. The Divots Restaurant and Grill is by the golf course for sumptuous dining.
This RV park has it all for a great getaway, far enough to break out from every day but still conveniently close to everything!
