The Manatee Cove FamCamp & Cottages are in a tropical location on a barrier island in world famous Cocoa Beach, Florida. The barrier island is separated by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Banana River to the west. It is located just south of the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, and a little over one hour south of Orlando. Orlando is home to Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and other central Florida attractions.
There are a full range of support facilities available on Patrick Space Force Base, which include a bath house, bowling, fishing pier, fitness center, golf, ice, laundry, marina, pavilions, picnic areas, playground, pool, potable water, restrooms, sewage dump. There is a full rental store, to include fishing & deck boats, ocean kayaks, canoes, surfboards, water skis, wakeboards, camping gear and fishing equipment. Beach House offers a full service menu.
Activities include boating, fishing (license required), fitness center, golfing, jogging, scuba diving, sightseeing, skeet/trap range, surfing, swimming, wakeboarding, water-skiing, and outdoor adventure trips. No pets are allowed in the beach cottages, and there is a 2 pet limit at FamCamp.
There are 156 RV sites available, as well as 3 Beach Cottages available for rent. The cottages are fully furnished and sleep 10.
