Home Depot is teaming up with the Army, Air Force, and Navy Exchanges to bring military members, active and retired, discounts on major appliances. The program is scheduled to start in Spring 2023.
Stripes.com ~ "Service members stateside will soon be able to avail themselves of discounts on major appliances through Home Depot as well as delivery and installation provided by the retail giant.
Home Depot is partnering with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service and the Navy Exchange on the purchase program, which is expected to start by next spring, said AAFES spokesman Chris Ward.
The program will significantly expand the inventory of major appliances, Ward said. It will be available to all exchange customers in the continental United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
Customers will be able to shop for big-ticket items via a Home Depot-branded online portal through the exchange websites or visit a Home Depot section in exchange stores, including those that do not currently have appliance showrooms.
Orders will be fulfilled by Home Depot, which will also handle delivery and installation, Ward said.
Among the products that will be available through the partnership are washers, dryers, dishwashers, freezers, over-the-counter or built-in microwaves, ranges, cooktops, ovens, hoods and refrigerators.
The program will be open to active-duty service members and their dependents, military retirees, Defense Department civilians and retirees, and honorably discharged veterans." ~ Stripes.com
