Pelican Roost & Osprey Cove RV Parks Mayport NS FL – Featured RV Getaway

The Pelican Roost & Osprey Cove RV Parks are both located on Mayport Naval Station in Jacksonville, Florida.


The Pelican Roost RV Park is on Bon Homme Richard Street, overlooking the jetties along the St. Johns River. This scenic park welcomes recreational vehicles as well as primitive and tent campers. The 47 RV campsites accommodate a maximum of 40′ length and offer 30/50 amp electric. Waterfront and Back-in sites are both available. The site is situated less than 1/2 mile from Atlantic Ocean beaches. Visitors will enjoy the Book/Video swap library, Wi-Fi, restrooms, and shower facilities.

The Osprey Cove RV Park is a nice getaway from the world, tucked away behind base housing. Site fees include planned activities and use of the Pelican Roost clubhouse services (Showers, etc.) The site also features vacation rental cabins. While you are there, enjoy the nature walk area adjacent to the park. Atlantic Ocean beaches are also within easy reach.

Whichever park you choose, visitors will find many nearby opportunities for fishing, boating, and manatee watching. A full-service marina with boat rentals is found on-base. And the Mayport Naval Station is a golfer’s paradise with 27 holes of year-round golf within walking distance of either park. A full range of support facilities is also available on Mayport NS, and many are also within walking distance. Additionally, Downtown Jacksonville is only 20 minutes away. And St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, is located just 30 minutes south.
