Pililaau Army Recreation Center (PARC) is located on Oahu, on the Pokai Bay, and is considered one of the best beach facilities on the island. It captures the essence of “old Hawaii” with beachfront property surrounded by rustic farms and homes. The cabins are on the beach about 35 miles from Waikiki.
The facility consists of 42 charming cabins. PARC offers three cabin sizes: studio rooms that will accommodate up to 3 people, 2 bedrooms that accommodate up to 4 people, 3 bedrooms* that accommodate up to 6 people. Cabin amenities include A/C, a full kitchenette with a refrigerator, a private deck, and a barbecue grill. The lodge is open year-round.
*note: 3-bedroom cabins are currently undergoing renovations.
PARC is idyllic for a beach vacation; amenities include an equipment rental center, pavilion for rent, and The Beach House by 604, a restaurant situated right by your cabin for lunch or dinner. Pililaau Army Recreation center is perfect for kayaking, surfing, or snorkeling.
If you feel like getting off the beach and exploring, the Dole Plantation is a 45 min. drive. Pearl Harbor is about 40 min southeast of Pililaau. A Space-A Air terminal is located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
