1. The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, Washington DC

An impressive collection of the history of the men and women of the United States armed forces. From the Civil War era telegraph to the early computer, this museum has a stunning collection of historical military artifacts of the United States.

2. The National World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA

Formerly known as the D-Day museum, this military museum tells the story of the American experience of World War II and the impact the war had on the world.

3. National Museum of the US Army, Ft. Belvoir, VA

Museum opened on November 11th, 2020. Located just outside of Washington, DC, this museum emphasizes architectural details and the educational focus on teaching the history of the Army.


4. National Museum of The Marine Corps, VA

The National Museum of the Marine Corps is right outside the gate of Marine Corps Base Quantico in VA. The museum displays the history of the 240 years of the United States Marine Corps. Museum offers many interactive exhibits, a Bootcamp introduction, and more.

5. Pearl Harbor National Memorial, Pearl Harbor, HI

This memorial commemorates the events of December 7th, 1941, when Japanese planes attacked Pearl Harbor. The Arizona memorial marks the resting place of the sailors and Marines killed on the USS Arizona during the attack.

6. National Museum of the US Air Force, OH

The National Museum of the US Air force is on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base outside Dayton, OH. This is the oldest military aviation museum in the world. This museum display hundreds of missiles and aircraft. It even has flight simulators.

7. Military Women's Memorial, VA

Museum dedicated to all women who serve in the military. Museums educate and inspire through interactive exhibitions. The museum is also committed to preserving the history of the over three million women that served in the United States Armed Forces since the American Revolution.

8. Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum Complex, New York City, NY

Museum dedicated to exploring history, science, and service. The museum, located at Pier 86 at W 46th Street in New York City, features the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid.

9. Navy Seal Museum, FL

The museum is located in St. Lucie outside Fort Pierce in Florida. The museum features historical artifacts, equipment, and exhibits devoted to the United States Navy Seals.

10. US Naval Academy, MD

The museum is located in the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, in Prebble Hall. The museum offers a historical overview of the hard work and dedication of the Naval and Marine officers. The Naval Academy displays personal memorabilia, ship instruments, models, films, and more.

This museum displays the most extensive collection of helicopters in a museum in the world and over 150 aircraft in total. The Army Aviation museum is located in Fort Rucker, Alabama, near Daleville, AL.
